We are proud to offer eYearbooks as a great addition or alternative solution to a physical copy of your yearbook. These digital copies are compatible with PC, Mac, and even tablets such as the iPad and Kindle!
This option is available if you are the yearbook adviser and you place an an order directly from the editor. Alternatively, you can offer eYearbooks to your customers by creating an online storefront (you can learn more about creating a storefront here).
At this time, eYearbooks can be offered for free, but your organization can also choose to set a price for eYearbooks by visiting the "Book Settings" menu in the storefront.
Once the eYearbook order has been placed, the purchaser will receive a confirmation email. You will receive a separate email within a few hours which will contain a link you can use to download the eYearbook in .epub format. The link will be valid for 7 days and can be downloaded as many times as needed. Once the link expires, a new order would need to be placed for the eYearbook, and a new link will be sent.
Note: If the eYearbook is set up for pre-order, the purchaser will receive an email confirmation immediately after the order is placed. However, the download link for the eYearbook will NOT be sent until the yearbook adviser releases the pre-order queue.
If you are having difficulties downloading the .epub file when using Internet Explorer, try using a different browser like Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.
Here are some recommendations for viewing epub files:
Microsoft Windows: To view the eYearbook on your desktop/laptop running Windows, you can download Adobe Digital Editions.
Apple Products: To view the eYearbook while using an Apple device (iMac, Macbook, iPhone, or iPad), it is best to use iBooks. If your device does not already have iBooks installed, you can download it from the App Store.
Android Devices: To view the eYearbook while using an Android device, it is best to use Google Play Books. You can download this app from the Google Play Store if you do not already have it installed on your device.
Note: If you have difficulties uploading the eYearbook to Google Play Books, you can download the Moon+ Reader app as an alternative.
Kindle: The Kindle uses a different file format (azw). To convert epub files to azw format, you can use a free program such as Calibre.
