If you plan to sell your yearbook via your Picaboo Yearbooks online storefront, then you can offer your customers a chance to personalize their copies of the yearbook with 4 free pages. See below on how to enable the personalization option.
1) Login to https://store.picaboo.com
2) Click “Configure Selling Options” to right of the project name in question.
3) From the left side menu, click “Personalization and Distribution”.
4) Where it says “Offer personalization?”, click “Yes”.
If you do not want to offer personalization to customers for this project, leave “No” selected.
5) Click “Save” from the bottom of the page.
Your existing customers who have ordered this project since August 2017 will get an email inviting them to personalize their yearbooks with 4 free pages.
Any future orders will also get the email to personalize.
Can I disable personalization later?
Yes, but any “finalized” personalizations will continue to print when you submit your project to production. Also, customers will not be able to finish any personalizations they may have started.
You can turn off personalization by returning to the “Personalization & Distribution” settings page above, clicking “No” and clicking “Save”.
When can customers personalize?
Customers can personalize their 4 free pages any time after they order, but must “finalize” their personalizations before the deadline date.
What is the deadline date?
When you first setup your project for Pre-Order sales, you specified a Pre-Order Deadline when your customers must order by. Customers also must “finalize” their personalizations before this date. The deadline date is the date you expect to submit the project to production or to the printers. Once you submit to production, customers can no longer pre-order or personalize unless you put the project back into Pre-Order sale status. This date can be changed any time by visiting the “Pricing & Sale Options” settings in your storefront.
What does “finalize” mean?
When a customer finishes their 4 free personalized pages, they must click “Finalize” from the page editor. Once the pages have been finalized, they will be locked in and printed with their copy of the yearbook. Customers must finalize their pages to have them printed in their yearbook.
