If your organization is actively using the Skipple app as a form of crowd sourcing photos, you can use those images in your yearbook.
Accessing Skipple Images
To access Skipple images in Creator Studio, click the "Manage Photos" button in Project Dashboard
Scroll down in the left panel until you see a section titled "Skipple". From here, you can see all Skipple images, Skipple images that have not been added to your project, and images that have been flagged as inappropriate.
If you get a message that says your organization is not setup for Skipple, that means your organization is not in our database OR it needs to be promoted in our database. Please contact your Client Success Specialist or submit a help ticket here for further assistance.
Adding Skipple Images to a Section
Once you have access to your Skipple images, you may start moving them to their desired sections.
To do this, simply click the Skipple image so it is highlighted in blue. Then click the "Add to" drop down menu and select the desired section.
If you want to move multiple images into a section at once, simply click each image so they are highlighted in blue and then choose the section you would like to move them to.
Sorting Skipple Images
You may sort Skipple images by using the following drop down menus
- Tags - Skipple users have the option to associate a tag with the image they upload in the mobile app. When viewing Skipple images in Creator Studio, you can sort by tags by clicking the "All Tags" drop down menu.
- Users - You can sort images by the user that submitted them in the Skipple mobile app by clicking the "All Users" drop down menu.
- School Year - If your organization has used Skipple in the past, you will be able to go back and see/use images from past years by clicking the year drop down menu.
- Rank/Newest/Oldest: By default, Skipple images are sorted by the number of likes they have (a.k.a "Rank"). This can be changed by clicking the "Rank" drop down menu to sort based on the date the images were uploaded to the Skipple app.
Flagging Skipple Images
If you come across an image that is deemed inappropriate, you may flag the image by clicking the flag icon that appears when you hover your mouse over a Skipple image.
Flagging an image will remove it from the photo feed in the Skipple app. It will be moved to the Flagged section where the images can be reviewed. From here, you can un-flag the image or permanently delete it.
*Note: Only yearbook advisers have access to manage the flagged Skipple images.
Send a Message to all Skipple Users
As the yearbook adviser, you have the ability to send a message to all Skipple users that have joined your organization and have signed up for a Skipple account. To send a message to all Skipple users, simply click the "Send Message" button found in the Skipple section.
Type your message in the text field, with a max of 60 characters, and click the send button.
