Cover Stamping is a new optional feature that can be enabled and disabled under Book Settings in your storefront.
When you first put your yearbook up for pre-order, Cover Stamping will be turned ON by default and your customers will be given the option to choose their foil color. If you want to disable Cover Stamping or you want to change the default foil color, go to the "Cover and Lamination" section under Book Settings.
From here you will be able to toggle Cover Stamping on and off. If you leave Cover Stamping on, you can change the default foil color using the drop down menu. You can choose between gold, silver, or allow customer to choose.
Make sure to click the Save button after making changes.
If you will be offering Cover Stamping, please be cognizant of the name stamp area when designing your front covers. You will notice a semi-transparent area marked in the lower right corner while designing your front cover. Make sure you keep important design elements (i.e. text/images) away from this area to prevent unwanted overlapping of a student's name.
Please Note: Cover Stamping can be turned on/off at anytime while you are accepting pre-orders. However, if you have pre-orders in queue with Cover Stamping and then you turn if off, those same books will still print with Cover Stamping. The same concept applies if you change the foil color after accepting pre-orders. For example, if you have foil color set to gold and someone pre-orders a book with gold foil, they will receive a book with gold foil even if you later change the foil color to silver.
In addition: Cover Stamping is currently only available when pre-ordering a yearbook that is created and shipped within the United States as part of a bulk order. Cover Stamping is not available for immediate orders OR orders being shipped directly to home. Also, Cover Stamping is only available for yearbooks designed in our new Creator Studio software (books created in our Flash based Legacy editor do not qualify).
