Most iPhones running iOS 11 or newer, will save photos in .heic format by default. Unfortunately, you will not be able to upload images in this format to our software.
iOS does a good job of automatically converting these images to a more common format like .jpg when it detects the recipient might not be able to read the .heic image. However, there are some instances where this might not happen.
Here are some helpful tips for converting .heic to .jpg when iOS doesn't convert automatically for you:
1. Convert pictures when you transfer them - Head to Settings > Photos, scroll down, and then tap “Automatic” under Transfer to Mac or PC. Your iPhone will now automatically convert the photos to .JPEG files when you import them to a PC.
2. Convert all pictures as soon as you take them - Go to Settings > Camera > Format and select "Most Compatible" instead of "High Efficiency".
3. If you have images already exported in .heic format, you can use a free online converter to convert them. Simply do a web search for ".heic to jpg converter".
